***Custom Built // Street Legal***
2017 California Sand Rail Pro Street with a 383 Stroker V8, 450+ HP that has $30k of build receipts. It puts the power down through a 3-Speed Auto Ratchet Shifter and Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R 22" tires. This pristine rebuild only has 200 miles on it and is sure to put a smile on your face.
Check out the 70 photos above that were taken by my two sons, Lars and Joshua.
THE STORY BEHIND THIS 2017 CALIFORNIA SAND RAIL PRO
STREET
About two years ago, I sold an extremely low mile 2008 Shelby GT500 Mustang Convertible to a gentleman who is a serious collector and Hot Rod shop owner. I took his 1964 1/2 Mustang Convertible in trade. When it arrived, I was extremely pleased. The quality of the restoration was incredible ...and in fact...it was the best example of a first generation Mustang I had ever seen. I quickly told my new friend (who for many years has been very involved in the Classic Car & Hot Rod scene) that if he ever wanted to sell any more of his or his friends collector cars ... please call me.
Well .. that was the beginning of a wonderful friendship and he and a lot of his friends, have been helping me acquire quality Collector Cars & Hot Rods ever since.
About 2 weeks ago, when he called me about this just completed, 383 Stroker (450 HP) California Sand Rail ... and ... I was thrilled !!!
My Hot Rod Shop owner and friend related that it belonged to one of his customers ... and ... that he had recently passed away after completing this incredible build. My friend was able to purchase it from his customer's widow who had over $30,000 in receipts and stated "she was sure that wasn't everything". Well ... when it arrived ... it looked even better than I had anticipated and it drives ... W o n d e r f u l !!!!
Plus ... Everything is Engineered, Assembled and Painted very professionally and "Show" Beautiful. Bottom Line ... IT'S A MONSTER ... AND ... It is GORGEOUS !!! Finally ... it is titled as a '71 Volkswagen ... which makes it transferable as a Classic Car!!!
