1968 Plymouth Road Runner. VIN RM21J8A137931. This is an unfinished restoration project. It is about 80% done. This is a unique opportunity to own a legendary Mopar muscle car. This is a real J-code Hemi car. The fender tag is intact and has been decoded by Mopar expert Galen Govier (Galen's Tag Service) and is shown below. The 426 Hemi engine is not number-matching to the car, but is era correct. The engine is complete (minus exhaust manifolds) and all machine work is done - it is ready to assemble. Included with engine are 2 extremely hard to find, N.O.S. carburetors. Car is equipped with an A833 4 speed manual transmission and 3.54 geared Dana 60 rear differential (completely rebuilt). The body is very straight and solid. All of the metal work has been professionally done and the car has been painted in it's original Forest Green Metallic color. The interior (original color: Parchment) will need restored. The major parts of the interior are included but you may need a few small pieces or hardware.
