Vehicle Description
No expense was spared on this custom-built 1940 Ford half-ton
pickup. It is powered by a 350ci V8 engine mated to a TH350
automatic transmission and comes equipped with Vintage Air with a
polished compressor, and Edelbrock aluminum intake with a 4-barrel
carburetor. The truck sits on a Mustang II-style rack & pinion
front end with a late-model Ford rear axle on leaf springs. The
custom leather interior features a tilt steering column with a
vintage billet steering wheel and VDO gauges. It rides on radial
whitewall tires mounted on custom steel wheels and 1950 Mercury
hubcaps. The bed is restored with varnished oak, polished strips
and polished fasteners.
