Four-door convertible are a rare sight on todays roads, with most
automobile manufactures not offering this layout, this 2005
Cadillac Sedan DeVille Convertible breaks the trend! Made in GM's
Hamtramck, Michigan factory, this car left the assembly line as an
Sedan DeVille and was converted into a fully powered convertible
top. Making the Cadillac a very unique four-door convertible, which
Cadillac hasn't offered in many years! Its previous owner took care
of this car, ensuring it was stored in a garage. Dressed in a clean
white exterior, the car's paint and trim are in excellent overall
condition, with some minor visible road wear. The car's lights,
including the then-latest interpretation of the Cadillac-slender
taillights are in fantastic condition. The car's bodywork is solid
and straight, its integrated bumpers fit well to the body. The
custom made tan power-folding top is in good order, with some wear
and tears showing. The car's tan leather interior is in overall
excellent shape. The front bucket and rear bench seats look great,
as does the matching carpet. The factory four-spoke steering wheel
faces the driver and houses several convince buttons for the
driver. The digital instrument panel with its swaths of woodgrain
appliqu�s for added warmth and inner door panels with their similar
treatment that echoes the dash, are all in great shape. The center
console mirror the rest of the interior's condition, even the
glovebox light still works and opening the door reveals the
traction control and parking valet control buttons. Completing the
interior is a factory AM/FM stereo with CD player. Under the hood
is Cadillac's Northstar V8 engine, which caused a sensation when it
was introduced in the early 1990s. Here, it displaces 4.6L, has 32
valves, double-overhead cams, variable valve timing and sequential
fuel injection (code L37). This Northstar version generates 300
horsepower and 295 pounds-feet of torque. Backing the motor is GM's
4T80-E four-speed electronic automatic transmission and a 3.71
differential. As with almost any modern Cadillac, this car is
replete with convenience and safety features. It has automatic
climate control, cruise control, Magnasteer* power steering, tilt
steering column, power four-wheel disc brakes with Bosch anti-lock,
power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power antenna, power
front seats, front seater heaters, electrochromic day/night
rearview mirror and "Rainsense" windshield wipers. Safety equipment
included dual front air bags, traction control, Stabilitrak
electronic stability control and continuously variable road-sensing
suspension (CVRSS). This DeVille rolls on Michelin radials, size
225/60R16 at all four corners and each tire is wrapped around a
factory, vented wheel cover with a center cap. The 16 inch chrome
wheels are in very good order while the tires are in satisfactory
