Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this restored 1947
Chevrolet 3800. This massive 1 ton is a big-time head turner, not
only for its size but for the clean frame off restoration that was
done as well. The restoration was completed by Dave Chapman @
Hollister RD Motors. The truck features a stout I6 which doesn't
seem like much, but it will push you down the road with ease. The
engine has roughly 1,600 miles on it since the rebuild and is
paired to a 4-speed manual transmission. The truck also features
4:11 gears, power steering, and of course A/C to keep you cool out
on the farm. Moving around the truck you will see it is sprayed in
a sleek butternut yellow. With color matching wheels and a massive
9ft bed, this truck is sure to take home a price at your local car
show. This pickup was also known as the Thriftmaster and was the
first year of truck series by Chevrolet after WWII. A fun fact is
that from 1947-1955 these trucks were the number one in sales in
the United States. If that doesn't scream America I don't know what
does. Some other options include 4-wheel disk brakes, matching
spare tire, and custom wood bed. Jumping into the drivers seat you
will be comforted by an original styled bench seat that is in great
condition. Another neat feature is the manual shifter mounted in
the floor. In 1948 Chevrolet decided to change the mounting point
up to the column making this what is to be believed as a 1-year
option on this truck. For more information on this 1947 Chevrolet
