Originally a coupe, this 1966 Mustang has been converted to a
fastback and was custom-built by Classic Recreations out of Yukon,
OK. It has a Ford Racing 32-valve Coyote Gen II 5.0-liter V8 engine
featuring a Roush TVS supercharger and Tremec 5-speed manual
transmission. It is dyno-proven to produce over 600rwhp. Goodies
include BBK long tube headers, dual 2-1/2" exhaust, Borla mufflers,
MSD Pro-Billet distributor and coil, and 9" FAB9 rear axle with
3.70:1 Truetrac gearing. The suspension is all modern with Rod &
Custom front coilover, Total Control rear coilover, performance
sway bars, tubular subframe connectors, Rod & Custom power rack &
pinion steering, and aluminum wheels. Stopping the wheels are
Wilwood 13" Track System brakes in front and Wilwood Touring System
brakes in the rear with slotted, cross-drilled rotors and
adjustable rear proportioning valve. It is painted in Oxford White
with blue Le Mans stripes flowing over the custom fiberglass
Pro-Touring hood. It has the R-model style front valance and Shelby
GT350X graphics, which stands for the experimental customization.
The interior features the Carroll Shelby SCAT Rally Series 1000
bucket seats, G-Force five-point camlock seatbelts, Carroll Shelby
signature gauges, Flaming River tilt column, aluminum steering
wheel with wood-grain rim, Shelby aluminum pedals and shifter,
RetroSound vintage-look stereo, roll bar with shoulder harnesses,
rear seat delete panel, Carroll Shelby floor mats and Old Air
Products air conditioning.
