consideration. That's right, this 1998 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe has
had just one owner since new. It has been one Michigan man's prized
possession for the past 20 years, and due to no longer driving it
as much as he should, he has decided to pass it on to a new
home.
Our client purchased this Vette from Team Chevrolet of Westmont, IL
in November of 1997. The car came from the factory in Black and
powered by Chevy's 5.7L SFI V8 mated to a 6-Speed Manual gearbox.
It was outfitted with the latest equipment of its time, such as
Traction Control, ABS, Front and Rear Disc Brakes, Heated Side
Mirrors, etc. but was also optioned with Dual Removable Roof
Panels, Dual Zone AC, Six-Way Power Seats, Memory Package, and
Leather Bucket Seats. All together, the window sticker price was
$43,299, which was A LOT of car and money for 1998. Desiring some
extra performance, our client had the car professionally built up
with an upgraded exhaust, top end, intake, and BBK throttle body.
These upgrades pushed the car to 350hp.
The car runs extremely well and the exhaust notes sound amazing
(see video). It comes with a folder of records plus original window
sticker and original purchase documents. You will be hard-pressed
to find another C5 this clean with only one owner, especially for
