Vehicle Description
This 1958 Edsel represents the top-of-the-line offering of the 1958
Edsel line with 52,171 original miles (mileage not indicated on the
title). There were 930 Edsel Citation convertibles built, and this
example is one of 60 currently listed in the Edsel Registry. Its
restoration was performed under the supervision of a museum
historian in Massachusetts and it has less than 150 miles since its
completion. This historical example of automotive and Ford history
is powered by a 410ci V8 OHV engine producing 475 ft/lbs of torque
backed by a completely rebuilt Teletouch 3-speed automatic
transmission. It is equipped with coil spring front and leaf spring
rear suspension, power windows, seats, steering, brakes and
convertible top, speed controller and auto chassis lubrication.
This Edsel features fender skirts, dual exhausts, factory
tachometer, tinted windshield, Town & Country radio and wide
whitewall radial tires.
