Report . In June 2013, five decades after Porsche unveiled its
signature sports car, the storied manufacturer announced a special
version celebrating the 911, distilling the best features from all
six generations. This 991.1 edition was the last to feature
naturally aspirated engines, marking a turning point in the 911's
evolution. Approximately 600 examples of the 50th Anniversary
Edition were destined for the American market, and every US-spec
version featured the Powerkit as standard, with ported cylinder
heads and a modified ECU, intake, and camshaft. These features
boosted performance to 430 hp and gave the model a reported top
speed of 186 mph. This 911 50th Anniversary Edition was finished at
the Porsche Exclusive facility in Stuttgart in 2013 and was no. 704
of 1,963 produced. A two-tone rear badge reading "911 50," unique
horizontal rear fascia, and wide-body fenders separate the
Anniversary Edition from the standard Carrera S. It was customized
with a rare black leather interior and nearly every factory option
available, including heated seats, fire extinguisher, front and
rear ParkAssist sensors, and all-aluminum gas cap, accelerator
pedal, and footrest. Complete with books, tools, the original
window sticker. This is an uncommon example of Porsche's ultimate,
factory-built tribute car.
