Awesome color combo of blue body, black vinyl top and black with white hound's tooth interior. Strong driver in every way. Appears previous owner sunk a lot of work/money/time into this car recently and then didn't get to drive it much. A lot of this car is brand new.
Paint is good quality base/clear with some minor chipping. Great shine and a real attention grabber. Probably an 8+ out of 10. Looks a little darker than LeMans Blue but suits the car well. Carries all the badging of a Z28 including the correct hood. The vinyl top is perfect with no underlying bubbles or rust. All the trim is in good shape including rocker moldings, wheel opening moldings and vinyl top trim. Couple scratches in rear bumper.
The interior has a great headliner minus one small tear near the overhead seatbelt strap. The dash is perfect. The door panels are nice, no rips in seats but some fading visible or maybe just driver seat back recovered. Everything working as it should including radio. All glass in great shape. The center console and horseshoe shifter nice. Great carpet. Chevy floor mats. Tach not working.
The Rally wheels are new all chrome with newer BF Goodrich tires. Wider rims in the rear for a staggered appearance. Fronts are 235 60R15. Rears are 255 60R15. Front disc brakes like new and good rear drum brakes. Manual brake system.
The front suspension has had a lot of new replacement parts and drives nice and straight. New shocks and springs. Brand new dual exhaust H pipe set up that sounds fantastic. The undercarriage is clean as can be seen in photos. This Camaro does have power steering and operates as it should. Rebuilt rear end. New leaf springs, shocks, rear suspension.
Under the hood is a newer Chevy 350 crate motor. Less than 1000 mi. NEW Holley 600 CFM carburetor. New aluminum intake manifold. electronic ignition and high performance ignition coil. Had upgrades done to motor but have no specifics. Runs strong. Ceramic coated headers. Very tidy under the hood. Chrome alternator, center bolt valve covers, thermostat housing, and air cleaner. Holley fuel pump. Automatic transmission recently rebuilt with auto floor horseshoe shifter also in great shape.
Very nice undercarriage showing some light surface rust, maybe some old rustproofing.. Could be painted up without much prep work. Frame rails, wheel wells, floors very nice. Quarters have been replaced at some point. Nice job and the car overall has nice panel gaps. Trunk is clean and comes with hound's tooth liner.
The '69 Camaro is a highly sought after classic muscle car. This is a strong example that can be driven, shown, and enjoyed and still appreciate in value. I have a clean title and car has proper data tag.

OK, as car guys we’re supposed to be pretty much color blind. It’s the car not the color that matters. That having been said, what I noticed first about the Pick of the day, a 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, was its unusual color scheme — charcoal metallic over lower-body trim in red and orange. Turns […]
