Ford Custom Deluxe convertible. This super nice example of a 51
Ford Custom Deluxe convertible underwent a frame-off restoration in
the mid 2000's. The original bulletproof Flathead 8 cylinder engine
and the Ford-O-Matic transmission were rebuilt at this time. The
car was then purchased by the Rogers Museum in Las Vegas, where the
cosmetic restoration was completed. This Ford received a new coat
of paint, the interior and chrome were restored. The car was
displayed there until it closed in 2015. Today we are proud to
feature this beautiful piece of automobile history in our Ft
Lauderdale showroom in south Florida. It is just a dream to cruise
in this 51 Ford through town. Rain or shine, with the new
convertible top you won't get wet. You will see a lot of upgoing
thumbs and smiling people wherever you will drive by. A lot of
memories were already written in this car and now it's time for you
