Vehicle Description
5,615 acrual miles. Completely unrestored original condition and it
is immaculate! This has to be one of the most detailed, pristine 87
Grand Nationals in the country. Has documentation, owner history
and is fully optioned.
EXTERIOR: Amazingly new looking. Original factory paint is glossy
and beautiful. I just examined it twice and can't find a flaw. No
door dings, no cracks, not even a rock chip. No buffer swirls, it
has hand polished wet looking finish. Has optional side protective
moldings. The fillers between bumper and body are not cracked or
discolored. Bumpers and rub strips are mint. Even the galvanized
license plate bracket looks new. The window seals and weather
strips are soft, no cracks or nicks. Jambs are spotless. The rims
are also mint. They typically pit or tarnish, these are bright like
new. Even the center caps and painted black areas are perfect.
Still has the original Goodyear Eagle GT tires, they look new.
INTERIOR: Also amazingly new looking. Really, it looks new. Not
even dust in the vents. The chrome sparkles, upholstery is
immaculate, even the headliner is mint (not drooping). It has never
been smoked in. There isn't a crack, or a stain or any fading. I'm
not just saying it looks good for it's age, I'm saying the inside
of this car looks brand new like it was made this morning! It has
all the options- full power including seat. Has t-top locks,
concert sound ll, leather tilt wheel etc.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Also immaculate, the carpet is perfect. The
spare tire and jack have never been out and look brand new. It even
has the cardboard filler panel next to the spare, still in perfect
shape. Has T-top bags and the sticker on the trunk lid with all the
factory option codes.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood looks completely stock and has
been detailed. The pad on the bottom of the hood that says
"turbocharged" looks new, not even dirt or oil flung on it from the
motor.
UNDERSIDE: Very clean, not corroded. The exhaust is still bright
silver.
I have owned many low mile vehicles, I have never seen an all
original, 31 year old car look as new as this car does.
The GN is considered a muscle car, typically categorized with cars
from the muscle car era 20 years earlier. Nothing compared to it in
the 1980s with cars being produced that could barely wheeze through
the 1/4 mile. These cars continue to rise in value because the
people that grew up with them, now have the means to buy back a
little of their youth. You can't go back in time and buy one new,
but this on here is practically doing just that!
