Vehicle Description
1974 International Scout II - I bought this partially finished
project about three years ago. This is a real looker and gets tons
of attention. After 3 years it is finally complete and ready for
it's new owner. I am not really a car guy so I don't know too many
specifics. This beauty is in excellent shape and I would rate it
probably a 7-8 of 10 as there are some minor paint chips here and
there and if you are someone who is really into the aesthetics
under the hood, you could spruse up the looks of the engine a
little. My mechanic says it is a Chrysler/Mopar, small block V-8
either a 340 or 360 and appears to be from around the 1972-1974
year range. It has a three speed automatic transmission with a bump
shifter if you really want it to get up and go. The interior has
been fully redone and looks great. All seats are tweed and vinyl
with carpet backs. All interior front door panels and rear side
panels are done in matching tweed and the floors and tailgate have
recently be done in a high quality plush carpeting by a high end
local upholstery shop with custom carpet floor mats with green
stitching. Many items have been rewired as well as the new powder
coated dash with all new Equus gages that all work. I do not have a
hard top, but I do have a full 'topper' safari soft top and a
bikini top that will be included with the sale. This is a great
vehicle with tons of money spent on it and you will not be
disappointed. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our clients home
