In 1982, after more than 50 years of designing cars for other
companies, Pininfarina became a true automobile manufacturer,
taking over from Fiat the companies most successful design, the
Sport Spider. To this timeless sports car design - now 17 years old
- Sergio added "over 100 design and engineering improvements", and
renamed his beauty The Azzurra in America and Spider Europa in
Europe. The last of the 124 Spiders had a multitude of upgrades
making it the most desirable of all the models. This gorgeous 1984
Pininfarina Azzurra is a perfect example why!
This documented 3-owner Azzurra needs nothing today. Mostly because
it has had 3-owners who cared for this car meticulously from its
very drive off the showroom floor. Included in the sale of the car
is every receipt that has been spent on the car since brand new,
original window sticker, original owner's manual, and a few extra
spare parts that were replaced along its life.
The current owner purchased the car in 1998 and his attitude was to
maintain the vehicle as original. The only two exceptions were a
twin-tip ANSA exhaust and the new black convertible top which
replaced the factory tan. Beyond that, this car is a near perfect
example of how this car would have left the factory.
The original fuel-injected 2.0l and 5-speed tranny have been
serviced along its life to stay at peak performance and everything
works the way its suppose to. Even the A/C blows ice cold!
The vehicle was painted in the early 2000s but has been garaged
kept over the past 20 years of ownership but the owner was
dedicated to driving it weekly to ensure that it was being driven
and not sitting for a long period of time. He was so meticulous
that he had oil changes performed annual for the last 10-years even
though the yearly driven mileage was only 800-1500 miles a
year!

commercial carriers. Most of which can deliver the vehicle to your
driveway. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays
incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody.

affiliates, it is the customer's sole responsibility to verify the
accuracy of the price with the dealer. All advertised prices
exclude local, state, government fees and taxes and dealer
