Vehicle Description
This 1978 Ford Bronco is an awesome build done with quality
components. It is also a RANGER XLT which is very desirable. We
purchased from the 3rd Owner and according to him the miles of
33,550 are original. We looked this thing over very carefully and
found no reason to dispute his claim as all of the metal appears
original as well as the interior. The truck was made what it is
today by the last owner and the only reason we were able to get our
hands on it was because he was going through a divorce. He has way
more money in this than what we are asking for it.
This was a Michigan truck its entire life and it was obviously
never driven in the winters and used only in the summers sparingly.
The Body is super straight with no rust and they did a repaint in
it's original color around 5 years ago (Excellent paint Job!!).
Even the tailgate is straight and nice. The chrome and brightwork
also held up very very well. The interior looks to be all original
and is in excellent condition. It has the High Back Bucket Seats
(Captains Chairs) and they added a Full Roll Cage and nice stereo.
This Bronco runs awesome and drives down the road great. Even with
the lift 65MPH is great and you can go much faster if you want. All
light, blinkers and wipers work. Horn does not work because of
aftermarket steering wheel.
There is a 6 Inch Suspension Lift and 2 Inch Body Lift by Deaver.
This was professionally installed and done right. It has Fox Shocks
with remote reservoirs all the way around and dual shocks up front.
It has all new steering components with Fox Steering Stabilizers.
The engine is a Ford 460 V8 that was rebuilt. It has a mild cam,
aluminum intake, Holley carb, Mallory Ignition, Ceramic Coated
Headers with Flowmaster dual exhaust. This engine runs strong and
smooth. The transmission is a C6 Automatic with a 2500 Stall
Converter and Mild Shift Kit to handle the power from the 460 V8.
The Transfer Case is the NP205. Front Axle is a DANA 44 and rear
Axle is 9" Ford Posi with 4.88 Gears. Both Axles have been gone
through and there are also new U-Joints. They also added new
Traction Bars and both driveshafts were replaced. New Bushings all
around.
There was a ton of money invested in upgrading the whole brake
system. It now has 4-Wheel Disc Brakes with the front being F350
Brakes and also Custom Rear Disc Brakes. New Booster, New master
Cylinder, and New Stainless Brake lines. This whole Bronco was set
up right and you will not be disappointed. We pride ourselves in
locating vehicles we would want in our own personal collection. We
hand pick each vehicle, drive it, and make sure it is ready for you
to enjoy! We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first
hand and accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives.
The Off Road Lights are not hooked up and are easily removeable if
you prefer. It is a very high quality setup with an aluminum, light
bar.
