that is in better shape inside and out than this 1964 Ford F-100!
No expense was spared when the restoration of this pickup was
performed! Starting in July of 2013 and coming to completion during
August of the following year this frame off restoration left no
bolt or nut untouched. No matter what angle you approach this
beauty from the professionally sprayed indigo blue paint job is
sure to knock your socks off. When you look closer at the detail
that was given to the body work and custom paint you'll notice very
nice touches such as subtle red, white and blue pinstriping that
dresses both the driver's and passenger's sides. Don't let the
numerous car show awards fool you into thinking this pickup is a
trailered show queen, in fact it is far from it. When the owners of
this fine piece of machinery started out on the build they wanted
something they could take to car shows and be very proud of but
also take on a road trip and never have to worry about reliability.
Raising the hood reveals a very well dressed 302 cubic inch crate
engine that punches out an advertised 350 horsepower! Helping
produce all that power while keeping with the reliability of the
powertrain is the MSD ignition, Quick fuel carburetor and also a
Speedway aluminum radiator. When mated to the 3-speed automatic
transmission with overdrive it makes for a very potent package that
will tear up the streets but also have tame rpm's at highway
speeds. If you are lucky enough to sit behind the steering wheel of
this street machine your rear end will be treated to the comfort of
the like new luxurious brown leather seats that have matching
custom door panels. Looking back at the driver is a set of new
vintage style gauges that help monitor all of the vitals of this
machine. A huge part that helps this pickup steer and ride better
than most others on the road today is the Mustang II front
suspension complete with rack and pinion. The stopping power is
aided by a set of front disc brakes. Rounding out the great custom
but classic looks of the pickup is the set of 18" American Racing
wheels at each corner of the pickup that are wrapped in 235/55R18
