Vehicle Description
1927 Ford T-Bucket Custom
Born in the 50's the classic T Bucket exemplify what hot rodding is
all about. These cars are based on the Model T but are heavily
modified. The name comes from the bucket shape of the body which
typically also feature a turtle deck or small pickup box. This 27
Model T is a great looking example of one of these cars and was
very well built. It is a fresh build with only 454 miles on it
since completed. The body is painted in a nice gloss Black and is
topped with Red and White old school pinstriping. The car has a
nice sleek exterior free from any door handles or unneeded trim. Up
front it has a shortened 32 radiator shell with a custom grill. The
5 spoke Rocket Racing wheels look perfect on the car and the wide
Hoosiers in the back let you know it means business.
In a hotrod like this where the motor and suspension are completely
exposed they better be done right and that is certainly the case
here. From the chrome I beam drop axle to the frame rails
everything is either nicely chromed or painted. Powering the
vehicles is a nicely built up 383 Stroker motor that has all the
power you could want for a lightweight T-Bucket like this. The
engine runs great and is fitted with an aftermarket cam, dual 4
barrel carburetors, long tube headers, side pipes, and chrome
Edelbrock valve covers. Heating is never an issue 1 because air
freely moves around the motor but also because a nice aluminum
radiator and electric fan has been added for optimum cooling.
Paired with the motor is a TH350 automatic transmission that
smoothly transfers power back to the posi GM 10 bolt rear end. Take
a quick peak under the car and you will see all of these components
are nicely painted as well.
The interior is done in a two tone Grey and looks great. The wrap
around bench seats works perfectly in a car like this and is fitted
with lap belts for both passenger and driver. A Lokar shifter is
mounted to the floor and moves through the gears with ease. The
dash of the car is painted to match the exterior and also features
some very cool pinstriping. It is topped with White faced Dolphin
gauges, LED indicator lights and the ignition is mounted in the
center. In front of the driver is a polished tilt column with an
old school T Bucket style 3 spoke steering wheel. The trunk is
nicely carpeted and is where you will gain access to the fuel cell
which sits in front of a custom tray section to hold all that car
show gear.
If you have ever tried to built a hotrod of your own you know that
not only is it a lot of work but can be very costly as well. This
is a great opportunity to take advantage of someone else's time and
hard work. It is being offered up at a fraction of the build price
and with only 454 miles everything is still like new!
This cool custom could be yours for only $29,900.00!
