1963 Land Rover Series IIA 88. Very good condition, garage kept, all mechanicals have been well maintained and runs great.
2.25L Petrol engine, rebuilt in 2003 and able to handle unleaded fuel. 4 speed manual + RoverDrive for 5th gear. Steering box and system adjusted in 2015 and runs true and solid. All electronics in excellent working order, with exception of water temperature gauge (needs replacement). All running lights, brake lights, headlamps, turning signals in good working condition. High beams and high-beam floor switch and dash indicator working properly. Both wiper motors operate properly.
Extensive upgrades: Parabolic springs lift the truck by about 2 inches; 16" original Land Rover wheels; 33" AT tires; upgraded alternator (instead of stock generator); spin-on oil filter adapter and Wise Owl transfer-case cover (w/cooling fins), refurbished rear differential; refurbished and resealed engine & transmission; replaced motor mounts; replaced exhaust system; muffler and manifold; free-wheel selector hubs on front; all new shocks (2014); hubs resealed in 2017; replaced distributor; new water pump; new master cylinder for brake system; front middle seat replaced with a lockable front seat cubby for storage.
