GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 2004 Chevrolet Corvette
convertible commemorative edition for sale. The C5 built for a
total of eight years from 1997 through 2004 produced almost 250,000
units in the form of a hard-top, fixed roof and convertible in a
multitude of option packages ranging from base to the Z06. They
also built a commemorative edition for its final year of production
and to highlight the huge wins at the 24 hour of Le Mans. The
package consisted of a special paint color called "Le Mans Blue
Metallic"and shale leather interior and cost $3,700.
The Corvette was sold new by Walston Motors Inc. and comes with the
original window sticker. The car comes with a few receipts over the
years, and in 2015 it had over $1,000 of routine maintenance done.
The Lemans Blue paint is in excellent condition and the shale
commemorative interior has been very well cared for and still
remains in excellent condition. The 5.7L v8 runs well and the 6
speed manual transmission shifts smoothly. The car had $7,000 of
upgrades added on at the time of sale consisting of memory package,
twilight sentinel, electrochromic mirrors inside rear and left
outside rear, head up display, power telescoping and manual tilt
steering column, magnetic selective ride control, front license
plate, body side moldings, 6 speed manual transmission, 12 dis CD
changer with remote and more. The Corvette has been upgraded with
Corsa catback exhaust and dual cone cold air intake, the original
parts also come along with the car.
