Offered here is a wonderful example of one of the most well
known sports cars of all time; the Stutz Bearcat. Stutz gained
its well known name beginning in 1911 at the Indianapolis 500 where
they didn't win, but finished without any problems, hence the
slogan "the car that made good in a day." From then on Stutz became
a well oiled racing machine and became a great competitor amongst
some of the other large sporty cars of the early days of
motoring.
This car is a 1920 Series H Bearcat that has a great
provenance, previously being owned by Jasper Wigglesworth. It has
also been recently treated to restoration work bringing this car
over the top. Mechanically, the Series H has a huge 4 cylinder
T-Head engine making 60 horsepower! This particular car runs and
drives wonderfully and is ready to be shown or driven with much
excitement.
