Simply Beautiful 1962 Ford Thunderbird Hardtop
New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1962 Ford Thunderbird
2 Door Hardtop with Deep Sea Blue exterior paint and a black vinyl
interior. You'll find the factory 390 cid V-9 engine under the hood
with the numbers-matching automatic transmission and this highly
desirable classic has been nicely restored well past the typical
driver standard. With a gorgeous flowing body and excellent
performance, this Yellow Plate vehicle is ready to be enjoyed right
away.
Highly Original w/ Numbers-Matching Drivetrain
The current owner of this 1962 Ford Thunderbird is the third to
title it and he informs us that it's been in California almost its
entire life. He has enjoyed it since 2012 and informs us that it's
an older restoration that has been maintained at very high levels
over the past decade. As you can see from the photographs, the
exterior is in excellent shape with great lines, excellent chrome
work and quality paint. There are only minor blemishes to be found.
The interior is even more impressive with only the slightest signs
of wear.
Additionally, this 1962 Ford Thunderbird Hardtop performs
beautifully on the open road with excellent handling and plenty of
power. It drives exactly as you'd expect from an early 60's muscle
car with little not to like. From what we can see, this example is
typical under the hood for a high end survivor that's been properly
maintained. Many of the original accessories appear to still be in
place as well.
Lifetime California Classic in Excellent Condition
Overall, this highly original 1962 Ford Thunderbird 2 Door Hardtop
is a perfect candidate for a complete restoration since everything
