1930 Chrysler 77 Roadster
Car is partially restored. Body has all new oak wood and is
primed.
Deck lid, golf door needs wood installed. Wood pieces are made.
268 ci flathead six is rebuilt. Steel valve seats were installed.
Engine has been started and run some with a gallon can of gasoline
and temporary electrical connections. I have a new wiring
harness. Gas tank has been cleaned and sealed, but has not
been filled or connected to engine yet. Gauges need rebuilt. Have
new faces for gauges. Radiator leaks, needs repaired. I also have
another radiator that looks in better shape.
Have four new Lester 600-650 whitewall tires. Wheels are painted a
VW blue, which is slightly lighter than the original color. Need 2
tires for fender wells.The two rims that go in the fender wells are
also painted. Have 6 new hubcaps.
Hydraulic brakes are rebuilt. Four speed transmission appears to
have very little wear. I have the top folding irons already chromed
and the dimensions for the wood bows and top material.
The windshield frame and wind wings are decent for chroming. The
windshield stanchions and other small parts are brass castings.
Need to be prepared for chrome plating. Have a trunk rack and
brackets.
Missing:
- Have one complete bumper (it is rusty)
- No Seats-I have the seat spring dimensions. Snyders Antique Auto
Parts can
make them. I also have the the old upholstery for a
pattern.
- No rear double action shocks. Front shocks need rebuilt, have new
seals.
- No running board trim and splash apron trim. I have dimensions
and some trim
for a pattern.
- Have headlight cross bar, but it is rusty. I have more photos of
parts etc.
