1931 Ford Model A Acquired this last August and it must be one of
the finest examples anywhere of an all original matching numbers
Model A. Even the six volt charging system is still intact and
working fine. The headlights, brake lights, gauges, etc., work
including the horn. All the glass is in good condition and in
proper working order. The doors, hood, etc open and close fine. The
body, vinyl top, chassis, and interior look fine. Oh yeah... it
starts, runs, shifts, brakes & drives fine too. Although, as for
actually driving it current owner merely went from the carport to
the garage. The previous owner stated it did fine as far as driving
goes. As for the paint it does not shine like today's new ones of
course, but it looks pretty fair considering and there's some
expected minor chips here and there. This appears to be a very
original matching numbers car, which is how it was traded for it.
As for the original paint and tires, cannot verify and highly doubt
they are. Although, the tires have never offered to go flat. Did
notice a small minor oil leak from underneath, but have not had it
checked out... could just be from setting/lack of running it much.
The previous owner said he inherited it from his dad who had a
number of vehicles and this one was left to him. Current owner had
something listed on the internet that caught his eye and the two
made a swap. The mileage is supposed to be 100% actual/true (56,650
miles to date), with no brands or otherwise on the title and proper
documentation in hand. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our
