1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible This vehicle was purchased fully
restored in December of 2016 by its current 72yr old owner and
enjoyed for the pleasure it is. Highly desired color combo of white
exterior and red interior makes for an elegant presentation. Recent
recipient of a professional restoration 390 CID V-8 engine
Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission and 3.00:1
gearing New black, power-folding top New White exterior with a new
black, power folding top and red interior Swing-away steering wheel
Wire wheel covers Undercarriage is clean and unremarkable Exterior
is bright white and restored with 2-stage urethane base/clear for a
high quality finish. Literal 10 out of 10 for it's quality
throughout. The only panel alignment issue is where right passenger
door meets quarter where lower end doesn't line up. Club restorer
thinks the door striker simply needs to be adjusted for better
fitment. Top is in near perfect shape with vivid clear plastic back
window. All bright work is excellent and looks new in appearance.
No signs of any rust or collision history evident. All glass is
excellent. Works as it should. Top works fine. Interior is near
perfect bright red. No bolster wear. No carpet wear. No splits in
dash pad. Headliner of convertible top is mint. Everything works as
it should. This is a non-AC car. The car started fine, backed it
out for photos and stalled. We have this scheduled into Shop to
remedy what should be easy remedy. No unusuals sounds or odors.
Suspension looks as it should. No leaking fluids beneath etc.
'Thunderbird' on the front hood instead of a chrome Thunderbird
emblem. Only transmission available is Cruise-O-Matic MX -Vehicle
