Vehicle Description
1949 Cadillac Series 62 registered running and driving that has
recently been resurrected from 46 years of indoor storage. The 331
ohv engine runs very well and the 4 speed automatic trans shifts as
it should. The car has had a large amount of mechanical work done
to it within the last year including a new starter, rebuilt
distributor, new coil, plugs, cap, filters, oil, new water pump,
new aluminum radiator, new hoses, new coolant, 12v conversion with
new gm 1 wire alternator, new fan, new belt, new fuel tank, new
sending unit, all new brakes, new lines, wheel bearings cleaned,
repacked and resealed, voltage reducers installed on factory
gauges, most bulbs changed, rims repainted, new white wall tires. As
you can see I have done a lot to this car. The body is relatively
solid no major holes but it does have some very old low quality
repairs that are bubbling, the paint is faded but has a cool patina
to it, I have a solid rear bumper to replace the rotted one as
well. The interior is original and in good condition for its age
with only 1 rip in the head liner. By no means a perfect car but
definitely a car you can drive while you work on it. -Vehicle is on
