1969 Packard 1700 Convertible Condition is Excellent! This Packard
has won numerous prizes since its restoration including AACA Jr &
Sr and a First in Class at the Packard Club. The car was purchased
from the family in Alabama that bought it brand new McCormack Motor
Co in Birmingham on June 23rd, 1939. The restoration was done by
Mickey Justice, a renowned restorer in Dillard, GA in the late 80's
and has had few miles and excellent care ever since. Packard built
24,350 of these Model 1700 cars in model year 1939. Factory price
new was $1092. Engine is 245cid 100bhp L head in line six cylinder
Three speed manual with steering column shift Parking lights on
front fenders, Goddess of Speed hood ornament, clock, outside rear
view mirror, banjo steering wheel, top boots, radio with outside
antenna, heater, shuttered grille, AND IT DRIVES LIKE A TOP!
