1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible a special one: the
last of the second generation, the Sting Ray (two words, later
called C2) which sustained a recent on-frame restoration. First of
all, a high quality paint was applied according to the original
code 976 'Marina Blue'. It also benefited from the addition of
correct new seats. Engine is a correct 327/300 with the correct VIN
and suffix present on the engine pad, mated with correct 4-speed
manual transmission. It does however have an upgraded Edelbrock
intake, but all else appears correct. Engine starts right away,
exhibits lots of power, does not smoke and performs as it should.
Tranny is tight and crisp. Other options include side pipes and
reproduction knock-off wheels . It has new brakes: new calipers,
new hoses, new J-lines, new pads, master cylinder... pretty much
all the system. It has a new gas tank, new sending unit, all gauges
work, except clock... Radio works! Headlights work (high beam blue
dash indicator works). The knock-off wheels were just fitted with a
new set of Redline tires recreating the original look and feel.
Chrome parts are complete and retain a nice and shinny look,. Did
we mentioned you will have the factory hard top? It was painted
together with the car and comes with it. Rear glass shows signs of
wear. A new Black soft top is being installed as early June 2017.
