1979 Chevrolet Corvette Runs great, sounds fantastic, and it's a lot of fun to drive. Right now it's got about a 15' paint job. Its not terrible, and it polishes up well, but its not new paint. Drivers seat has a tear in the backrest. Typical cracks in the dash. All the major work was done by Frank's Corvettes in Spring and they've done a fantastic job across the board. Its got about 650 miles on a new Chevy 290hp crate motor and new 700r4 transmission (4 speed with overdrive keeps the rpms lower at highway speed=better mileage). Added a new Vintage Air A.C. system at the same time, blows very cold. Dual electric fan, new Hooker headers and modified Magnaflow exhaust, new weather stripping throughout, new vacuum lines, new brake system, and the rear end was just rebuilt. The rear glass lifts also for easier use of storage space. This car is at the perfect point for someone who wants an upgraded, low-maintenance classic without paying top dollar.
