1949 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup. If you're looking for something you can
hop in and cruise this is the one. The mechanical aspect of this
Truck is superb. It has a nicely built 283 in it that is backed by
a 700R automatic transmission. The engine is strong and does not
leak. The transmission shifts smoothly with out any hesitation. The
drivability of this Truck is outstanding. It cruises down the road
like a newer Truck and that is due largely in part to the Camaro
subframe that was properly installed. Today, the Truck has disc
brakes on the front, power steering, and tilt. All of these items
were installed by a professional mechanic who was meticulous in
insuring that everything was done & operating properly. Truck
interior, you'll find that it has a newer set of aftermarket
gauges, door panels, arm rests, and headliner. The door handles on
both doors are in great shape both in function and cosmetic
appearance. The windows roll up and down with ease. The only thing
that does not work on this Truck is the horn. All of the gauges,
radio, and wiper blades work. The cab of the Truck as well as the
frame of the Truck is solid. The flatbed section of the Truck was
built by a true carpenter who did an exceptional job. Just recently
redid it and utilized a dark (Espresso) stain in the process. The
paint on the Truck is driver quality. It wasn't done poorly, it
just has some age to it. The Truck is currently sitting on a nice
set of Corvette Rallys with a set of Baby Moons. They are wrapped
in a newer set of BF Goodrich radial tires. All of the glass
through out the Truck is in good shape. This would make the perfect
shop Truck. It is as reliable as it is fun, a talking piece. Every
