Vehicle Description
1967 Jeep M715 'The Bush Whacker' I bought it to do work and to
have as a 'classic' toy. It's been fun but I need a second vehicle
I can drive more frequently and in bad weather. This makes me very
sad but I always waned to own one and now I have. Childhood dream
Full filled. Trust me when I say you cant help but smile driving
his thing. Jeep guys love it, Truck guys love it...Decommissioned
from military in 1978. Sent to the New Bloomfield fire dept to be a
brush truck. Decommissioned from fire dept in 2012. I purchased in
2014 with approx 24,000 miles. Now has approx 27,000. Always parked
under carport since I've owned it. Solid floors and bed. Only bad
rust is in rockers. Frame is spotless and undercoated. This is a
truck from when men were men. It's hot in the summer and cold in
the winter. It has NO ac, NO heat, NO radio, NO power steering, NO
power brakes, NO hydraulic clutch or anything else that makes
driving comfortable. It was made to carry over a ton of cargo or
troops off-road to and from the battlefield. It rides like a
dumptruck and tops out around 60 mph and that's fast enough in this
thing. I've had close to 4 ton of broken up concrete in it and it
barely squats. It rides best with a ton in the bed. I've gotten 2
ton of stone on more than one occasion. -Vehicle is on consignment
