For Sale: 1961 Mercury Meteor in Cadillac, Michigan

1961 Mercury Meteor 2 door sedan. All original with 94,582 miles. This car, although far from perfect, has a great engine and runs fine if it starts. We recently purchased it for a bit more, but seem not to have the time to work on it. It had ran fine before we purchased it after sitting for 2 years, and we have put little effort into trying to fix it up but it needs new drum breaks for sure. The exterior is great other than some rust under the passenger side door, and some rust on the back end of the original weld of the trunk (easy fix for welders). The car seems fine with wanting to start, but we have only tried to start it a couple of times; you won't be able to drive away in it. Also the car its self comes with a original 9' bullet proof rear end. Everything about the car is completely original and has exceptional glass and special plates. The interior is not in the best of conditions after about 56 years and could use some work although it is not mandatory (Dash is in perfect condition). Overall the car is great for use and in need of some tuning up.
