Vehicle Description
1931 Ford Roadster Pickup is a brand new build just completed in
March 2014. It has about 1,500 miles on it currently and will
continue to be driven until it is sold. No expense was spared in
the build of this truck and it shows. It is currently a finalist in
the running for Goodguys Street Rod Headquarters Truck of the Year
(Early -- through '52). That alone is a testament to the caliber of
this truck. The body is made by Brookville and is all steel
including the fenders. The cab has a 3' stretch done by the
manufacturer for comfort. Hundreds of hours in body work alone in
this truck. The front section of the frame are original 31 rails
that have been boxed and modified and the rear section is all
custom. The wood in the bed was custom made for this project out of
zebra wood, definitely one of a kind. Interior consists of a Rod
Tops top and the upholstery is a deep red Jaguar leather over a
Glide seat with storage underneath. Powered by a Chevy 350 small
block topped with a trio of chrome 9-Super-7 carbs for a vintage
look and feel. Runs smooth as glass. Backed by a TH350 trans with a
Gennie shifter. A Ford 8' rear brings up the back. Runs cool in any
weather, even in traffic. An MSD billet distributor fires it all
off. Original style leaf spring up front and coil over suspension
in the rear. Rides and drives fantastic. All Wilwood braking
throughout, master underneath and discs all around. Entire truck is
plumbed with stainless hardline and AN fittings for reliability.
