1936 Chevrolet Hot Rod This cool little '36 Chevy Hot Rod pickup is
loaded with features from a detailed Chevy 250 c.i. inline 6 to the
huge 15' wide Mickey Thompson tires. have a huge box of receipts,
papers and photo books of the ground up build. Body and doors were
sandblasted and suicide doors installed. Bed is completely new.
Everything is metal except for the widen fiberglass rear fenders.
Engine has a new mild cam from Comp Cams, new Petronix electronic
ignition, Holly 390 four barrel carb on a Clifford intake manifold
and Clifford headers. Cooling is handed by a Walker radiator and
3000 cfm electric fan. Transmission is a Chevy turbo 350. Front
tires are like new and the rear 29' x 15' x 15' Mickey Thompson
tires are brand new. Front end in a Fat Man Fabrication Mustang II
unit with power rack and pinion steering and disc brakes. Rear end
is 9' Ford ladder bar set-up with disc brakes and just rebuild
pumpkin with 3.50 gears. Truck also has power brakes. Brand new bed
is tubbed to clear the wide tires. Bed wood is Pergo separated by
chrome strips. Door in bed provides access to the 22 gallon fuel
cell. Tail gate has hidden hinges and the locks are on the inside
of bed. Cab has suicide doors, power windows, power doors, custom
aluminum door panels and new custom built bench seat. The rest of
the interior includes a front window that is flush mounted with a
rubber seal, stereo with a USB port, a Lokar shifter and Sunpro
tach. The truck also has a louved hood pictured in one of the
photos.
