For Sale: 1949 Chevrolet Rat Rod in Cadillac, Michigan
1949 Chevrolet Rat Rod. cab is a 49 chevy cab, original glass in
it, both windows roll up and down, has working cowl and side vents.
saw blade windsheild visor. has working heater and wipers. has
buckets seats with lap belts. Cd player hidden in center arm rest.
Front end is a 45 ford front fenders and grill with 49 chevy hood,
49 chevy box with wood floor. 49 chevy rear fenders. Has reciever
hitch mounted that can be unbolted very easily (just did a 500 mile
round trip pulling a trailer). Body is mounted on a 00 crown vic
chassis that was shortened front and rear. Has a 8.8 posi rear end
with 4:10 gears installed this spring (have old 3:73 gears to go
with it) rear disc brakes. Has 4 speed AOD trans with a shift kit.
Motor is a fuel injected 4.6L with PI heads installed on it which
bumps the compression up on it, motor has new: timing chains,
starter, water pump, PI intake, PI aluminum heads, Power steering
pump and hoses and accel coils, oil cooler all installed this
winter. Only issue is its cold blooded when first start it so just
need to give it a little gas or choke it but the no issues at all
with it. Runs and drives great.
