1959-first year of the El Camino and this is a classic example that looks like it’s flying with those nice fins! Painted candy apple red with rebuilt 348 with three 2’s, fender skirts and air conditioning!
Exterior: Painted candy apple red, paint shows age with scratches. The body is solid, no rust, no dings or dents. It’s all there. Chrome fender rails, fender skirts, wide whites and custom made bed cover. Comes with door mounted air conditioner.
Interior: Reupholstered in red cloth, there is a tear in the seat that has been repaired. Under dash air conditioner blows cold. Clock, radio and horn are there, but not working.
Motor and Driveline: 348 V8 with three two-barrel carbs is a recent rebuild with less than 1,000 miles. 3-speed automatic, dual exhausts.
This car purrs like a kitten. El Camino prices are through the roof. You can buy a project for $10k, or a frame off restomod for $60-$80k. This one is right in the middle and it’s ready to take you cruisin’ without breaking the bank!
