1960 Ford Galaxie Sunliner convertible, which was fully restored
about 10 years ago. There have only been about 50 miles on since!
The unique 1960-only style complements the classic wide body and
tailfins, and make this show car an instant hit! Specs: Ford 438
FE, customized from a 390 Stroker. Rated 500 HP and 500lb/ft
torque. Edelbrock alum heads. Dual 4 barrel carbs. Finned alum
valve covers. Headers are ceramic coated. New! C-6 transmission.
3.56:1 stock rear end. Power brakes. Engine compartment is
well-detailed and lightly chromed. Squeaky clean undercarriage,
underbody, exhaust system, and front and rear suspension. The
Restoration was a five year project, a full frame-off,
nuts-and-bolts rotisserie restoration. This beautiful car was
restored with utmost attention to detail. Stainless trim and chrome
have all been replaced, all body panels are straight with uniform
panel gaps. Paint is a flawless Monte Carlo Red finish on this
rust-free body. A noted Michigan trim shop crafted the custom
convertible top with Haartz Stayfast� #848 Black, a premium line of
3-ply toppings, constructed of acrylic square weave facing, rubber
inner-layer, and cotton backing. On both the front and rear, radial
tires are finished with polished REV classic 100 15x8" wheels. On
the new interior, it has black carpet, and red, white, and black
vinyl on every seat, door, and kick panel. All metal has been
finished to match the body color, Monte Carlo Red. Just as much
care was taken with the reconditioned instrument panel, producing a
clean appearance and high functionality, perfectly. All gauges,
instruments, lamps, and so-on, are in operational condition. If you
need music for your drive, this Sunliner is equipped with an Alpine
AM FM CD high-end stereo unit right in the glove box.
