1994 Mercedes SL500 in excellent overall condition, with 97K verifiable miles. Originally sold for $95,000 when new. Classic style and advanced Mercedes design with modern drivability and features such as heated power seats, pop-up roll bar, and power soft top. With a 322 hp 5.0L engine, it is capable of extreme performance and effortless cruising.
This SL500 has its original Smoke Silver metallic paint and original interior. There are no dents, and the paint is flawless except for a few minor key scratches on the passenger door, fender, and hood. The interior is in very good overall condition, with some typical wear on the driver’s seat and chipped wood on the doors. The dashboard has no cracks, and the analog clock keeps time accurately. The hard top headliner was just professionally replaced with original quality cloth and padding. An Autocheck report and the original owner’s manual and dealer service books are included. The A/C works perfectly and blows ice cold air.
Mechanically this SL500 needs nothing. I have owned it since 2013 and taken care of the typical repairs SL500s need. Recent work included transmission overhaul for $3900 by Mercedes expert, New Kumho Z-rated tires, new headlight switch, distributor caps, v-belt, and headliner replacement. A new Alpine amplifier has been installed to go with the original Bose/Mercedes audio system. This SL500 is solid, precise, drives as it should, and is in fine overall condition.
SL500s are fun, fast, and luxurious to drive, especially with the top down on a winding country road. A bargain at this price, needs nothing to drive and enjoy.

The Chevy Corvette has been an American icon for 67 years now, and it’s as much a part of U.S. history any other automobile. At a time when patriotism is running high and history is celebrated, it seems fitting that a Corvette should get the spotlight. The Pick of the Day is a low-mileage 1996 […]
