Very nice car. Owner purchased the 1935 Ford Coupe in the mid 80's
from someone in central Wisconsin, the car originally came from
Colorado. It needed a complete restoration, the engine was a later
model flathead but the car was complete (hood, grille, trunk lid,
doors, running gear, wheels ) The car needed new floor pans and
patch panels behind both doors to the rear wheels, Trunk floor, new
interior, new glass, wood bows for the roof, and engine. Owner had
the floor panels, patch panels installed and the complete body
restored by a local shop that specializes in antique auto
restorations. The frame and running gear were sandblasted and
coated with a zinc chromate primer and a top coat of imron. The
interior is a LeBaron Bonney 1935 Ford reproduction, reproduction
rubber floor mats, the mechanical brakes were redone, owner
purchased reproduction 1935 ford wiring harness, replaced all the
glass in the car, the hardest item was finding a correct engine
which was found in a yard over by the Mississippi river, a 1936
late block.
