Vehicle Description
1972 GMC 1500 LWB Pickup Truck. Similar to the Chevrolet C10. Built
in the same factory in Fremont, California in 11/71. This truck is
a true California survivor with the Z in the vin. number. purchased
this truck from a man in Eugene, Oregon because the body was still
in all original condition. You wont find one in original condition
much better then this one. It is not perfect but the body has the
original paint still. You see tons of Chevy C10's but these GMC's
are few and far between. I had the complete drive train redone. It
has a 3.73 Posi (Original/Rebuilt with better then new parts) the
transmission is a 350 Turbo (Rebuilt with 2200 rpm stall converter)
The engine is an amazing Ross Automotive Machine 350 with 393 HP.
(Too many parts to list here) Has about 1000 miles on engine and I
have the Dyno video for the HP rating. It has aluminum headers with
3' exhaust to Flowmaster mufflers and 3' pipes bent out the side in
front of rear tires. Three core aluminum radiator with dual fans. A
lot of chrome and billet aluminum. redone the entire interior. Just
about everything is new or cleaned up good as new. The complete
duct system has new hoses. Anyone who has been behind the dash of
one of these knows how hard it is to get the duct hosing in. It has
a 200w stereo that appears stock until its digital face lights up.
Has hook ups for iPod, iPhone or mp3 player. I built a box for the
200w Kenwood speakers because I didn't want to drill holes in the
kick panels or doors. The truck has sound deadener underneath the
new carpeting. Originally the truck had rubber mats. . This would
make a young graduate the talk of the town. Could be the coolest
Shop Truck around. This truck is both Fast and Loud!
