Up for sale we have a 1967 Chevrolet Biscayne. This car has had a
gorgeous Frame Off restoration. It sports an old school look that
will keep heads turning and be the envy of all the car guys in your
town! In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description
of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of this Chevrolet, but
first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee.
We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no
consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You
can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a
big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So,
that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us
for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at
(865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of this Biscayne. The first
thing you'll notice is the time and effort that went into getting
this '67 to have one of the best panel fits you'll ever see. All
the body lines flow beautiful from the front to the rear and all
the door gaps are even and symmetrical. This Chevy is covered in
the Gold that's done in Base Coat Clear Coat. It has been buffed
and polished to a deep rich shine that is slick as a ribbon and
really shows off how straight this car is. You'll notice that both
the front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. The rest of the
emblems and stainless are all in excellent condition as well as all
of the glass, and the side glass all goes up and down as it should.
To complete the look on it's sitting on a set of 15" Steel Wheels
with Dog Dish Hubcaps and New Firestone Wide Oval Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '67. On the inside it's
done in the classic black the provides a beautiful complement to
the Gold Exterior. This Biscayne has had the carpet, headliner, and
door panels replaced at the time of the Resto. It also had new seat
covers installed, but they made sure all the padding was in
excellent condition before having them done. Looking at the dash it
also has had the pad replaced. It has had the aftermarket tach
added on the column, and the gas gauge and speedometer are both
working as they should. This Chevy also sports the tissue dispenser
under the dash for a timeless look. In the trunk it has an amazing
detail with all the metal appearing rock solid and having the
Spare, Jack, and Trunk mat.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the
hood it sports a fresh built 396 Big Block Engine that's mated to
the Muncie Four Speed Trans and the 12 Bolt Rear End with around
3.70 Gears. This 396 is set up with a Winters 3933163 GM Intake
with a Holley 84780, 800 CFM Carburetor. It's dressed in the
polished valve covers and breather with the 396 call outs. For
exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes and the stock style
mufflers. For brakes it does have the Disc on the front and the
lines have been replaced. To keep it cool it has been upgraded with
an Aluminum Radiator. When you look under this '67 you'll notice
the Gas Tank has been replaced along with the fuel lines. Under the
front new ball joints have been installed along with new control
arm bushings front and rear. This Biscayne was taken off the frame
and all the floors are in excellent condition and all appear rock
solid along with the frame.
