Vehicle Description
CRUISIN CLASSICS has entered the TOYOTA world again with a bang.
Introducing a 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 4X4. This is a very
nice looking, running and performing machine. The restored red
exterior (2011),will pull you in and then the black with
contrasting red interior will hold you. The NEW (2018), black,
split, fold down front seats are for easy access to anywhere in the
vehicle. The NEW (2018), black, back seats will fold as well to suit
any situation.The inline 3.9 Liter engine (F1 155) with a build
date of February, 1971(F-343782) and the build date of this FJ
being March of 1971, is a VERY good indication that the original
engine is in the compartment and pushing about 155hp. Per the
previous owner, this was a Barret-Jackson star that had an engine
rebuild in 2011, hence the mileage being low to indicate distance
traveled on the fresh engine.Brakes and clutch restored original in
August 2013.Also the previous owner was kind enough to upgrade to
new OEM bumpers, new carburetor and most importantly...power
steering. It was originally a manual 3 speed, column shift vehicle.
Now it has a floor shifter to make the driving experience better.
This classic is also blessed with a removable top. The soft-top
that comes with the your ride looks like new as well as the soft
doors. (pictured) The soft-top, soft doors and the rain cover ALL
come with their own covers for protection. On the floor in the back
is a radiant heater for the travelers that have the backseat
advantage. The spare tire swings out, the window swings up and the
doors swing out to open up the back for travelers or travelers
equipment. This is a spectacular looking classic that we would like
you to have. The true Mileage on the car is unknown. If you have any
