1966 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster features a factory Sunfire Yellow
on black color combo, numbers matching drivetrain and a few
tasteful upgrades that allows you to get the ultimate enjoyment out
of putting this Vette on the open road.
The hard part with any classic is knowing what has been done to it
over the years, and this car is no different. The current owner
purchased the car in 2014 and since then has done a frame up
restoration. You can see a complete list of work that was done to
the car below.
He almost immediately had the car professionally repainted in the
correct factory Sunfire Yellow and then was buffed and wetsanded to
perfection. All the exterior chrome was replaced as well for a
better than factory shine. The convertible top folds out easily and
shows little to no wear as well.
Inside the engine bay you'll find the original numbers matching
327/300hp V8 that looks just like it left the showroom floor. Small
upgrades were performed like the new mallory electronic
distributor, coil and new plug wires to ensure easy starting every
time. Stopping power comes thanks to 4-wheel disc brakes where the
entire brake system was overhauled in 2015. Look underneath and
you'll see a clean underside with brand new front and rear
suspension including the steering box and rag joints. The clutch
and throwout bearing has also been replaced.
Inside the interior appears just the way it left the factory.
Although to simply glance over it, you might miss the fact that
special care was taken to have everything working. Beyond the seats
having new foam and seat covers installed on the black bucket seats
the owner also put brand new door panels on it and then had all the
gauges including the clock rebuilt to ensure everything works when
you fire up the car. Ultimately, the interior shows extremely well
and doesn't need anything and your hands will feel right at home on
the black steering wheel.

commercial carriers. Most of which can deliver the vehicle to your
