Vehicle Description
1989 Porsche 911 Targa finished in Grand Prix White with a Black
Leather interior. Powered by a high-strung 3.2L 215hp air-cooled
6-cylinder engine and backed by a proper 5-speed manual
transmission. Porsche showcases a profile more recognizable than
almost any car on the road and pushes power through the 911 that is
nearly unmatched. The Targa version is rare and gives the option of
a somewhat open-air cabin like a convertible or closed to give the
feel of a coupe. Factory options on this stellar Targa consist of a
Steering Wheel with Raised Hub, Heated Seats, Shorter Gear Shift
Lever, Power Adjustable Seats, Rear Window Wiper, Front and Rear
Spoiler, and Sport Shock Absorbers.Standard equipment consists of a
3.2L Air-Cooled 6-Cylinder Engine, 5-Speed Manual Transmission with
Hydraulic Clutch, Front and Rear Stabilizer Bars, 16" Forged Alloy
Wheels, Anti-Theft Device for Wheels, Energy Absorbing Bumpers,
Tinted Glass All Around with Graduated Tint Windshield, Heatable
Rear Window, Heatable and Electrically Adjustable Outside Mirrors,
Windshield Antenna with Antenna Amplifier and Noise Suppression,
8-Speaker Sound System with Amplifier, Air Conditioning, Power
Windows, Integrated Central Locking and Alarm System, Rack and
Pinion Steering, Automatic Speed Control, and Integrated Fog
Lights. An exquisitely built, rocket-like German sports car that
redefines all-out road performance via a 3.2L 6-cylinder engine
with tremendous levels of road-holding, braking and acceleration
dovetailed with deft handling. Porsche's mighty flat six is an
"always" engine. It never stops hammering for more and rarely runs
out of the capacity to nail passengers to their seats. With slicker
bumpers, taillights, rocker panels and a wing that pops up to
minimize lift, the 911 makes a better impression on the eye and a
lesser dent in the wind. Porsche's big ventilated four-wheel discs
and their ABS circuitry never flinch. Their huge reserve of
stopping capacity ties into a tuned suspension that combines for
superior handling capabilities. The cockpit styling is every bit as
refined as you'd expect and this Porsche maintains basic design
themes from the past but boasts cleaner layouts and enhanced
functionality, particularly the classic instrument cluster which
includes an ignition lock in the traditional Porsche location -- to
the left of the steering wheel. Though the cabin has a
function-oriented layout, upscale materials on the doors and
dashboard, and remarkable craftsmanship and attention to detail
throughout welcomes both driver and passenger. The Black leather
seats in front are firmly bolstered and deeply contoured, and are
in excellent condition, offering miles of comfortable driving. For
