Vehicle Description
1967 Plymouth Belvedere
This first-year rare, numbers matching GTX is absolutely immaculate
with incredible lines, big time power, low mileage and just a car
that is at the top of the list when you think pure muscle. There
were only 12,010 GTX's made in this one-year only style with even
fewer in red.
The car is powered by it's original 440 Super Commando V-8 engine
pulling 375 horsepower and tied to a smooth-shifting 727 3-speed
automatic transmission putting all 375 horsepower to the ground
with ease. There are no leaks and the car runs/drives just as it
did off the showroom floor with only 89,000 original miles.
It has been repainted to show quality in it's original red that
absolutely sparkles in the sunshine. The car has no rust or filler
and the body is straight as an arrow. All of the chrome and bright
work are in excellent condition along with the complete
undercarriage. This is just an iconic car with the dual hood
scoops, angular hard top roof and uninterrupted window lines with
no post. It has power steering/brakes and sits atop perfect factory
Magnum wheels on period correct red line tires that are like
new.
The original black vinyl interior pairs well with the deep red
color on the outside. The pattern on the bucket seats and the
artful center console in between are part of a more intricate
design than you would expect on a Plymouth (once again showcasing
how much of a premium Plymouth this is.) These were midsize muscle
cars of the day, but that designation in the '60s means full-size
comfort today. So there's plenty of room to have up to four family
and friends riding with you, but you don't need any of them to have
fun with this GTX. It feels like a driver's car from the moment you
grab the factory three-spoke wheel with chrome horn bar. The only
things that are not original are the SunPro gauge package and JVC
AM/FM/Cassette stereo. The latter we can replace at our dealer
wholesale cost with a AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth for a minimal amount
giving it more of an original look. The real soundtrack to this car
comes from the 440 roaring through the dual exhaust going down the
road!
We are offering it at an extremely reasonable price of
$44,900.00!
NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $37,900.00!
This car is being represented for a collector in the Seattle,
