This is a 1984 model Pininfarina Azzurra Spider, which is based
on the Fiat Spider. Fiat discontinued manufacturing the
Spider in 1983. Enjoy the summer days in this very rare
convertible with an automatic transmission, making it easy and fun
to drive. Pininfarina is an Italian company that provided bodies
for the Fiat 124 Spider until it began assembling the entire car
for a brief period (1983 - 1985) with a redesigned interior. Very
few of these cars were manufactured during this 3-year period, and
fewer still with an automatic transmission. Pininfarina supplies
the bodies for a number of other high-end cars such as Ferrari.
I purchased the car two years ago and replaced many parts to ensure
its reliability as a clean daily driver. It has the classic 4
cylinder electronic fuel injected Fiat engine which runs smoothly
and pulls strongly. It comes with a full and detailed set of owners
and shop manuals. Available for inspection and test drive only if
you're seriously interested. Additional photos available upon
request by interested buyers. More information about this
type car is available at www.pininfarinaazzurra.com".
