Vehicle Description
Ultra Motorsports is pleased to offer this crowd favorite. This
1971 Volkswagen Camper Van Safari Conversion is a cool little
project that would be easy for any Do-It-Yourselfer. These vans are
a head turner everywhere they go. So, I realize this is the type of
vehicle that enthusiasts are somewhat fanatical over. At Ultra
Motorsports we are not VW experts. We liked this vehicle, so we
acquired it. We can answer any questions to the best of our
knowledge. We can take as many pictures or videos as needed to make
sure a potential new owner is comfortable. Now that we have that
out of the way, this is a pretty cool little van. While we may not
be VW experts, we certainly know good bones. The question on any
potential buyers mind will likely be in regard to the condition of
the body. This body is VERY CLEN and DRY. The floors are solid. The
body panels are solid. There are no visible signs of extensive rust
or previous rust repair. This van has had at least one repaint and
appears to be the original color. The paint appears to be in good
condition and would very likely shine nicely with a polish. The
front seats are in good shape and not in need of replacement. The
dash appears to be in good condition as well. The camper area of
the van is intact. Again, the bones are good. It appears as though
there have been very few modifications made. The sink and plumbing
appear to be intact and in working condition. The fridge and range
top cabinet are in good condition and appear to have all parts
intact. The original 1600cc engine and manual have been rebuilt
recently and are performing as they should. This van is in running
and driving condition. Please do not hesitate to contact our office
(260)969-5666 or Rich (260)704-0234 if you would like additional
photos, video, or information. Ultra Motorsports can assist with
worldwide transportation arrangements.
