Vehicle Description
The square-jawed 1970s Ford trucks are true icons that are becoming
harder to find. So we're quite happy to offer this 1972 F-100
Ranger XLT that retains its best features (like the A/C interior),
and received the right upgrades (like a quality respray), and all
offered for a terrific price.
The Wimbledon White paint on this truck is that great kind of color
that was made legendary by Ford's Mustang. It's a classic hue that
looks thoroughly modern today, and that's because there was a
quality respray that now gives it a modern clearcoat shine. And
speaking of shine, this one has all the best brightwork.
Mirror-like bumpers, bed rails, and wide towing mirrors help make a
terrific impression. Plus, there are great upgrades like the
shining dual exhaust tips and the 15-inch polished wheels. And the
desirable deluxe trim package of this Ranger XLT gives this plenty
of full-length brightwork to add plenty of distinction while also
highlighting the straightness of the sheetmetal.
Inside, the exterior white returns on the metal pieces, and now
it's joined by a sporty red - so this really does feel like the
Mustang of pickups. This gets all the vintage details right with
the textured bench seat, square-style gauge panel, and simulated
woodgrain on the premium Ranger XLT's dash. Plus, you get all the
right upgrades like a nice wood & chrome steering wheel and an
upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo. But we think your favorite feature will
be the sliding rear glass. When combined with the side vent
windows, it provides the kind of breeze through the cab only a
classic pickup can provide. Plus, with the factory air conditioning
blowing nice and cold, you can do this all through the summer
season.
The 400 cubic-inch motor was the largest small-block Ford had
available in these pickups. The V8 looks quite nice under the hood
with the big blue block, matching valve covers, and shiny air
topper with the correct decals. And it's supported by the right
components like a Champion aluminum radiator and MSD ignition.
Plus, the fresh belts, wires, and hoses show you that they invested
in the details - and this feeling continues out on the road, too.
The V8 fires up with an extra throaty rumble thanks to the Hooker
headers feeding the dual exhaust. And the three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes make this
classic truck an easy cruiser.
This is the vintage pickup that looks great and leaves you wanting
for nothing. So at a price like this, you need to hurry if you want
to take it home. Call today!!!
