After owning this pickup for 40 years, it is time to put it up for sale. This is a 1965 half ton GMC (nearly identical to the Chevrolet model) that has served me well over the years. It was originally a Nebraska truck, but has been in Wisconsin the past 35 years. It has considerable rust on the fenders, doors and floorboard, but is definitely restorable. I use it in the summers only on our small farm and for errands to town. It has been shedded it's entire life, but was driven in the winter in earlier years. It has not been driven in the winter for the past 20. It is very reliable, and can be driven anywhere. It has a 283 cubic inch V8, with four speed transmission. The odometer works, and shows 154,000 miles. The engine was completely overhauled at 102,000 miles back in 1978. I have a complete record of all oil changes and all other work on it since then.
