This is a true 442, not a clone. This 442 has 39,500 original miles. The 442 motor has matching numbers to the VIN, and sports an aftermarket 6spd manual transmission. The original 442 motor has been upgraded with Edelbrock aluminum heads and “Rocket” racing cast aluminum valve covers.
The body is straight and free of rust with an older professional quality paint job. It has the original "442" Dual Snorkel hood with twist locks and red accent panels matching the "442" side accents. The interior is in excellent driver condition and side panels have been modified with tuck and roll upholstery. Dash is in original condition with factory gauges and clock/tack all trimmed in wood grain. Has under dash AM/FM CD player and accessory gauge panel. Top appears new also. It rolls on chrome 15" Old's Rally's with BF Goodrich T/A radials. The motor has been modified with Edelbrock Aluminum heads-Performer intake with Q-Jet electric choke carburetor. Has "Rocket" racing cast aluminum valve covers, chrome alternator, aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Also has ceramic coated long tube header with dual exhaust and original "442" Trumpet exhaust tips. This pumped up unit also sports an aftermarket 6spd manual transmission. Car's equipped with power steering and power disc brakes. Even though hood has minor damage to the hood opening, It's my opinion this mildly modified muscle car.
