Wearing correct White over Black livery, this 750 F series
Giulietta Spider comes furnished with its correct type engine
dressed with Weber carburetors (original DC03 Carburetors included
with sale), tunnel case 4-speed transmission, sheet metal and "466"
body number stampings. The previous caretakers of 14 years were
very attentive to the Giuletta's upkeep as it served them well
throughout their ownership. Fit and finishes are very consistent
throughout with older but presentable glossy paint, bright chrome,
and new Pirelli Cinturato tires mounted on vented steel wheels. It
is believed the current paintwork was applied 25-30 years ago,
while the interior cabin was just recently restored. Its interior
cabin compliments with red piped seating and door panels, red
carpeting and correct vinyl mats - a factory radio-delete plate
remains mounted. Original jack, tire iron and spare wheel are
stowed behind the seats. Both luggage and engine compartments are
very clean and orderly, while the rear contains correct rubber mat.
04480's undercarriage appears very solid and honest, with original
sheetmetal and frame supports under a thinning layer of
undercoating.
In 2016, the engine received a complete top-to-bottom engine out
rebuild including new internals. The work was performed by Auto
Europe of Birmingham, Michigan - with invoices to accompany from
2003-2016. While currently equipped with Weber DCOE carburetors and
better performing spark plug wires, the Veloce is complete with ALL
original intake components, including the sandcast 40 DCO3
carburetors, airbox, plenum, linkage, clamps, hoses, Bosch
generator, coil and correct green wires. All electrical items on
the vehicle are in proper working order, including the lights,
gauges, horn and wipers, while the mechanical aspects are on key
with the tight feel, quick revs and peppiness that these cars are
known for. The engine compression reads: 170 PSI on all four
cylinders.
In preparation for the 2018 California Mille the Giulietta went
through a thorough preparation including mounting and balancing of
new Pirelli Cinturato tires, restoration of the seats with new
padding, electrical work to ensure all lights, switches, gauges
were working, new fender mounted mirrors, new correct floor mats,
new windshield washer fluid bag, and new battery. The little Alfa
kept up flawlessly for the full trip!
Eligible for important vintage driving tours across the Globe, here
is very honest and well sorted Giulietta Veloce Spider, ideal for
instant enjoyment and rewarding ownership.
